Printing an RGB file instead of Greyscale

I'm just courious as to what or how an RGB file image would look like printed with a Piezography inkset, through QTR, rather than first converting it to a grey scale image first. I've not done this but am courious as the inks would all be shades of grey(for a lack of a better terminology at the moment) and by turning it to greyscale all you've done is just desaturate the color.
I'll be cross posting this in the Piezography forum just to get some more views.
