QTR-Create-Icc won't start - x64 Windows 7

2014-05-24 by Mike Johnston

Hi,

I have been using QTR on my x64 Windows 7 computer for about a year.

I finally tried QTR-Create-Icc.exe and it won't start.

I looked at it in dependencies and there are a lot of missing DLLs.

API-MS-WIN-APPMODEL-RUNTIME-L1-1-0.DLL

API-MS-WIN-CORE-WINRT-ERROR-L1-1-0.DLL

And so on.

Googling shows this is a fairly common problem with other programs.

Which version of Visual Studio was the program built with? (I have the
latest version of QTR.)

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

Mike Johnston

Mike,

I saw your post and I was having the same problem but I think I found how to run it. It's a console app so it has no UI (I think). Take a look at the Eye-One-ReadMe.pdf doc in the eye-one folder (at the end of the doc). You need to drag-n-drop the text output onto the exe and it pops up another text file and saves the ICC in the same directory.

Hi Ron,

Thank you. I forgot about that.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
