install7900.command does not activate newly created QTR curve

2014-12-21 by andres_toodo@...

Hi

I have QTR 2.7.5 and OS 10.8.5.

Just made a copy of SP7900 raw curve for starting a new linearization process but the install command is not able to activate it. It gives a following message in terminal: Couldn't open /Library/Printers/QTR/quadtone/Quad7900/UCpk-ProPearl205.quad for writing: Permission denied

I already tried to disable firewall and checked if install7900.command permission is Read&Write.

Thanks

That means no write permission on either the .quad file or the folder.
Go to folder and run Get Info and make sure access permission is read-write
for everyone. You may need admin password to set this. Also if file
itself is issue just delete it and create new one with script.
