Here is an idea of what the MIS EB6 MK and C (shade-2) densities are like when printed on Hahnamuhle PhotoRag out of an Epson 1430. These are readings of the ink separation strips for the two channels printed 0-100. At the 100% patch the densities are actually pretty close to each other and can be hard to tell apart, but the middle of the scale tells a different story.
When I make profiles for the EB6 ink set, the ink limit for K is down in the mid 30s to mid 40s, and maybe up to 50 depending on the paper. I tend to have more overlap and lower ink limits, which are set so the densities at 100% are evenly spaced rather set to as much as the paper will hold. It seems to make a better profile with this printer compared to profiles I've made with the larger, more consistent printers.
