I am trying to use Print Tool and QTR 2.7.7 to print using a custom profile.


I created (modified) a profile and it is in the correct folder for my printer in the Profiles Folder under Applications. According to the QTR Instructions I should also see the .quad files in /Library/Printers/QTR/quadtone folder, but that folder doesn't exist.


I open Print Tool and select QTR3880 but the only profiles I get as options are pretty random and not the profiles in the Profiles/UC-3880 folder.


I am pretty new to some of this but I have read and re-read the instructions and don't seem to be getting anywhere. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Yes, I tried it several times. I probably have just enough knowledge of this to be dangerous.

I just tried printing through Photoshop rather than Print Tools and the modified profile shows up under "curves" in the print settings.

I finally found what I was doing wrong. The correct profile showed up under Printer Settings after I clicked Print. Now if I can just get my front feed to work! I found this out by trying to print from Photoshop and found the setting there.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
