Are Hahneuhle Thoto Rag QTR curves generic for matt papers?

2016-01-26 by sverre aurstad

Hi!

This weekend I will start printing for a show. I have been using the curves supplied in QTR for Hahnemuhle Photo Rag with some success. I now want to try out Hahmemuhle Museum Etching. Can I use the same profile for this paper? Must be better than the other option Epson Enhanced / Archival Matt.

There may be lot's to pay attention to and any suggestions from experienced users will be received with gratitude!

Thanks,

The classic H. papers, including the two you mentioned, usually print well with the same profile. That said, learning how to re-linearize a profile is a skill that is basic to top notch printing.
