Hello all, I’ve been using QTR for making digital negatives for platinum/palladium printing for many years. I have a few students that now have x900 series printers (9900 to be specific) and I don’t have access to one. I wonder if anyone has an ink descriptor file they would share as a starting point for these printers. Thanks! Kerik Kouklis www.kerik.com

Kerry, Attached is a descriptor file and curve I developed before my 7900 bit the dust. The curve is a PDN 40 calculation so it has contrast built in. If they want to do their own calibration they can eliminate the GREY_CURVE line in the file. Hope this helps. Kerry, I think I mistakenly sent you a profile and curve for gravure instead of PT/PD. Here is the correct text and curve. This curve is applied in photoshop. It can be added to the profile if it works for them. Sorry about the mistake.
