QTR support for P9000

Hi guys,
I searched the forum boards for "P9000" but only produced 1 thread that discuss the P800/700/600. I have a P9000 and is trying to make custom curves. The old thread suggested to use P800 as a starting point, but whenever I print the stepwedge, it produces a "double" print. I tried it several times and the results is always the same. I tried using other curves (7900) and it works fine. Problem is, the create curve function acts up.
What would be the best base curve to print the stepwedge for the new inkset of P9000?
