ICC and QTR

2005-10-31 by Mr_Misty_44

I'm a bit dense about this. I understand in principal, the use of the
ICC profile in Photoshop for soft proofing, I.E seeing on the screen
what the print will look like. Are there further implications? Can you
print through Photoshop using the Epson drivers for instance?

You cannot use the Epson drivers with QTR.

Of course you can print from Photoshop using an ICC profile, but I don't
think the ICC profiles created with QTR can be used in this manner. The ICC
profile created using the QTR_Create_ICC utility is (usually) created for a
specific QTR curve and can be used to preview what a print would look like
if printed using QTR, that curve, and the associated printer, ink and paper.
