The QTR driver works on the new printers -- same software. But the
inks are different. I've attached a link for a folder with all this in one
place for the P6000, P7000, P8000, and P9000.
Simply download the zip file put it in QuadToneRIP/Profiles and open it.

This is for Mac -- on Windows just use the corresponding Print Model.

Hi

I need to use QTR on a 44" printer. Anybody here know if QTR will work on a P8000?

Thank You for this link!

My Printer QuadP8000 is now running with the driver QuadToneRIP 2.7.7 Epson 9890
I am mostly using QTR for negatives/positives on film

But I miss an option in print resolution that I need for quality reasons:
(I put a screenshot in 'Photos' library album)

Quad4880 have options 1440 dpi and 1440 Super
QuadP8000 have only option 1440 dpi

Is there coming an update fixing this issue?

Hi Peter,

For the best quality negatives, you should be using 2880dpi which is an available choice. Try it!

The printer does not have the "super" weave.
2880 dpi is the one to use.

Thank You for your reply!

...but:
The 2880 dpi option give a bad pattern in the darkest tones.
The printer Epson SC-P8000 have the "super weave" 1440 in the Epson driver.

(is it possible attach a screenshot in this forum? If so, how?)
