Can't Install K7 custom curves on a 9890

Can't Install K7 custom curves on a 9890

2016-12-12 by deanwork2003@...

I just did a clean install and put in new hard drives on all my Macs, now running El Capitan.

I can't remember how to install these curves. There is no folder for the 9890 printer with K7 and I tried the 9800 folder and it doesn't work. Tried making my own folder and putting that in the Profiles folder and installing but no curves are being located.

I had no trouble installing QTR and it shows up fine, just no curves.

I replied to John’s FB message ot me but for future reference for all those looking for Piezography curves, you can download and install the forever-updating archive here: http://piezography.com/downloads/piezography-community-edition

We have separated the Piezography curve archive from QTR as we update it now almost weekly and do not want to bother Roy with those requests. It also has a new manual, targets, and other goodies. The PPE version has even more . . .

best regards,
Walker

Hi John,

Go download the new Piezography Community Edition <http://piezography.com/downloads/piezography-community-edition> if you haven't upgraded to it. There is a folder and install command for the 7890-9890. This is separate from the regular QTR installation.

Cheers,
Keith

Walker,

So don’t wait for version number to change? Profiles have been added?

Mark. John was asking about K7 etc.

I’m literally building pro curves as I type this. (not online yet)

Current stats on new Piezography Pro curves attached below in image (there’s a lot of printers and a lot of papers and everything has Cool, Warm and Neutral curves so it’s a lot of work before I can push upload. Probably ready by Wednesday at 11am:

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
