Can't open QTR program using Windows 10

Just installed Windows 10 on my ASUS laptop and actually printed a pic using
QTR. But when I closed the program, I was unable to reopen it. When I clicked on the shortcut, nothing happened. Them removed all QTR files from computer and downloaded newer version from website. Everything seemed OK, but when I click on the program, nothing happens. It appears to be present on hard drive, but can't open it. I have been using QTR for many years and paid my $50 back when it was optional. I use the old E2200 photo printer. Help!
