QTR-Quadtone RIP

Looking at the profiles folder for the 3800 K3 inks I see both MK and PK "raw" profiles. I am not sure what these are for - perhaps as a base to create custom profiles for other papers?

That is exactly it. These have generalized ink limits and gray partition settings that are close enough to linearize for some people. You might still want to print the black channel ink separation image to set the k boost before making the initial profile and linearizing.
