"Old" Pictorico

"Old" Pictorico

I have some >5years Pictorico 20813 Prem OHP Transparency Film.

Current sellers show TPU-100 as number

Does anyone know if the "Old" will hold as much ink or preform the same as the current?

Thanks, Terry

Hi Terry,

I think the number 20813 is from a version way more than 5 years old. I'm thinking more like 10-15 years or so.

There are currently 2 versions of Pictorico OHP Transparency Film:
  • Premium TPU-100
  • Ultra Premium TPS-100

The Ultra (TPS) version is slightly thicker (5.7mil vs 5.2mil), and does hold a higher ink load by about 25% than the TPU version.

Hope this helps,
Keith

Thanks Keith,

Just thinking if I make my QTR profiles for Cyanotype on this Old Pictorico if I will need to redo all the steps when I buy the newer.TPU-100.
