Negatives suddenly thin

Negatives suddenly thin

2017-07-05 by tjadendarkroom@...

Hello Group,

I am having an issue with my dig-negs printed from QTR. Same printer, same profile two different computers - One negative is normal and the other is very thin and grainy. I have tried uninstalling all of QTR and reinstalling along with the profiles on the computer printing the thin negative and still have the same issue. Has anyone run into this problem before and have a fix?

Changing from bi-directional to uni-directional has improved the grain structure, but the negative is still thin. Please help!

Do you have access to the qidf for the profile that is causing the problem or do you only have the .quad curve?

If you do have the qidf text profile can you copy and paste the contents here. We might be able to figure out the what could be causing the problem from that.
