installing 3800-Pro (Piezography) printer over ethernet.

When I try and install the 3800-Pro (Piezography) printer I get the following error message: “ALERT! Unable to create curve folder /Library/Printers/QTR/quadtone/Quad3800-Pro”. I am entering the correct IP address for the 3800. I have tried copying the 3800-Pro curves folder into this library location (after removing the read me and installer scripts) but this doesn't seem to make any difference. I have also tried installing the printer using Quad3800-Pro.pkg but this appears to have been built only for USB connections.


Any suggestions appreciated!

it's a permissions error. Reinstall qtr and do over.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
