Using Quad ink in different printer

Using Quad ink in different printer

2018-05-08 by gregnixon@...

I used to own an Epson 2000P pigment ink printer. I had only finished converting it to a quad tone printer when a badly leaking cartridge spilled ink into the head and electronics, rendering the printer non operational and not worth repairing.
I upgraded to an Epson 2100, Epson's second generation pigment ink printer.
I have ink left over from the 2000P, would the inks for the Epson 2000P be usable in the 2100? They are both pigment ink printers.
I also have a 1400 printer which works well as my colour printer.

My preferred outcome would to use the remaining Quad tone ink, for the now dead 2000P, in the 2100 and colour ink in the 4100. The 4100 supports a wider ranger of paper, making it the preferred colour printer

2100 refill ink carts are no longer available on the market (at least dependable ones that-is) . . . it’s a 14 year old printer model . . .

I have a 2200 and one of my cartridge broke. I had to replace it. I use www.superjetusa.com

I have been using their ink and cartridges for years. Very nice people.

They have CISS and refillable cartridge. I use the CISS myself. You can get an empty one and put your own ink,

Best
