Some noob questions

Hi everybody. It's been quite a while since I've tried black and white printing. A long while back I bought some quadtone cartridges for the Epson 980, but I'm basically a noob. I recently bought an Epson L1300 (I'm located in Thailand), which is a 3 picoliter, 4 color, ink tank, dye printer. I'd like to convert it to a quadtone, pigment-based black and white printer. I've read quite a few of Paul Roark's pdf's and understand the basic idea.
My first and most basic question is whether I'll be able to use QuadtoneRIP with the L1300, considering that it's not listed on the web page as being a compatible printer. But I know different Epson printers have different names in different parts of the world.
So will I be able to use Quad Tone RIP with the Epson L1300 in Windows 10?
