QTR-Quadtone RIP

Crash and burn. Have to reinstall everything. I vaguely recall that if I get a new driver from Epson (SP 3880) that it may install a driver that detects after market cartridges and won't work. Anybody?!

My cartridges came from China via Hong Kong, identical, but far less costly. I keep backups of installers on separate drives and apparently the one to be downloaded today from Epson is the same as the last one I installed, so I may just bite the bullet.

Do you still have the install CD for the 3880?  That would give you the driver without fear of what a new driver might do.

I’m pretty sure the new driver is benign. Don’t download the “Combo” one but just the driver portion.
