Problem with Linearization

I am having a problem with creating a curve with the linearization 
data.  I have used both the 21 and 51 random patch, measured with an 
Eye-1.  When I paste the values from the QTR-Linearize-Data and hit the 
Create Curve button, I get the following error message.  Invalid 
linearize curve -- not constantly increasing. Curve creation failed. 

I have used constantly increasing density values and the values that 
come from the QTR Linearize Data program. I have double checked the 
actual values and they are constantly increasing, or in the case of the 
values from QTR Linearize, constantly decreasing.  I get the same 
problem with both.

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

All the data points you supply are connected smoothly like the Adj Curves command
in Photoshop.  If the values have very uneven jumps this can create excessive swings.
This is probably what is happening.  Too much ink especially toners at the dark ink
are a common reason for this.  You might try plotting the values in a spreadsheet to
visually see where the uneven steps are.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
