2200 dither & micro banding ?

It seems like selection of best dither relates to micro banding .. and PERHAPS to particular releases of QTR...maybe... ...is that your experience? ...I've recently been plagued by micro banding both in color and QTR. The color issue seemed fixed by using the fast speed and 2880, but that didn't help the QTR. The QTR was fixed by using ADAPTIVE HYBRID dither...I tried the others without success. With a previous QTR release I'd used the Casey Stengal Dither (or was it Tom Delay?)successfully. Yes, I've done the maintainance checks...everything's perfect. I'm using OEM pigments, have never had a clog or maintainance issue. What do you find to be related to micro banding? What dither do you find most effective with 2200?
