QTR-Quadtone RIP

How can I load additional profiles into the program so that they show 
up in the drop down list? Or do we only use the epson ones listed?

If you have additional profiles, place them in the appropriate Quadtone folder
and they will show up in the drop down list.

Can you tell me where to find the qidf profiles? All the profiles I 
find are in a different format.

Where are you gettting the new profiles?  All QTR profiles (curves) have a .quad and a .qidf file.  What are the ones you want to load?

I want to load profiles other than the ones that come with the software.

I have no problem loading other non QTR profiles for my printer. I can 
use them with Photoshop with no problem. What I do not understand is 
how to load new ones into this software so I can have other choices 
besides the Epson papers. I use Moab Entrada and Hahnemuhle Photo Rag.

These are the ones I would like to see in the drop down list. (If it
is possible).

Only profiles created in QTR can be used in QTR.  If they don't have
the .quad and .qidf extension they won't work in QTR.  There are some
profiles or curves in the files section of this group.  I'm sorry but
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "non QTR Profiles".  Do you
mean .icc printer profiles?  If so then those aren't the ones that
will work for the pull down selections in QTR

If you have installed the curve creation software there will be a folder named
"Profiles" it your QuadToneRIP program files folder. There, under the
appropriate printer & ink folder name you will find the QIDF files. QIDF files
must be processed by the curve creation software before they can be used in
printing, so you can't just copy them to the QuadTone folder.
