New to QRIP

Hello, I have just arrived at trying QuadtoneRIP and need a little help. I use a 2100 with Lyson Quad Black Toneable inks, and from time to time have made some good prints through CS2, using the Channel Mixer and monitor profile provided. However, I think the nuetral is warm and the monitor profile for softproofing is anything but correct. Having installed the RIP software, and read Tom Moores excellent guide I feel that at last I have a tool that can give me what I want in terms of shadow and tonal control. I have made some prints using existing curves (on to Epson Archival Matte)on a hit and miss basis because I dont know which inkset (UC etc) the QBT inks fall under. For the time being I have used UC- EEnhMatte-cool etc If anyone can point me to a good starting point with these inks and this paper, from which I can then make my own curves I will safe loads of time and be very grateful. Finally, and pardon me if I could have found the answer with more research, how do I softproof the results with a monitor profile? Sorry if these questions have been asked before. Regards Nigel Roberson
