Are you using Panther? If so download this USB patch...it will more than likely fix the 
problem.

I am fascinated by this. I presume that the long roll is of a set of
pictures rather than one, or perhaps it is a panorama.

Whichever it is, what do you do with such a large print? Can it be
framed, plaqued or what?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
