Ink Calibration Mode

I am creating a curve for moab's kayenta paper. when I go to print the ink separation file, i am moving the slider to 65% since that is the point at which the K position seems to show no more seperation in successive patches. I print the file and my k patches still show dmax at 65%, not at 100%. Also this is with the ut3d inkset on an epson 4000 with resolution set to 2880. Any advice? thanks, john
