need help creating QTR profile

2006-08-10 by shutter52

Hi All:

I recently purhased Roys quadtone rip software and would like to use this to profile my
printer using a colorvisons printfixpro--i have read all the info that comes with QTR but am
not sure where to begin--I am new at profiling printers but was able to successsfully set up
the Epson2400 to print color. Are there step by step instructions available to profile my
system/ My OS is 10.4.7--I just dont know where to begin? Thanks for any help.

Ron

Hi there :=)

Have done a lot of surfing lately, trying to avoid major investments,
and still getting acceptable quality. Not easy - seems most people
active on forums ect are dedicated enough to want "the best". However
just stumbled over this article

http://www.northlightimages.co.uk/article_pages/printfix_pro_for_bw.ht
ml

Mind you I havnt tried it out yet - seems Im one step behind
you  :=)

Good luck and greetins to all

Niels

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
