I printed borderless prints...

2006-08-22 by David Theimer

For anyone who has to have borderless prints using qtr, simply cut
your paper a half inch longer and wider and in the paper size box in
qtr indicate the actual size of the piece you are using. Then size
your image to the desired print size. If you are printing borderless
5x7's you will get a 5x7 print in the center of a 5.5x7.5 piece of paper.
This might sound like it would be easy for anyone to figure out. The
reason I am posting it is I asked a couple of months ago and was told
that I can't print borderless with qtr.

Borderless is not supported. If you read David's "idea", its just cut
the
borders off after printing.

Just how much paper is wasted when one crops a bordered print??

I wouldn't worry to much, but yes, we would like all things to be exact.
