Which canned curve? Epson VFA - UC - 2200

2006-10-07 by ferdinand_paris

I've searched the archives and there isn't a recent posting on this
issue? There seems to be three answers:

(i) EEM
(ii) Piezo Museum Bright
(iii) The custom made curves in the files section.

You would think that the last option would be best, but the maker
urged caution when he posted them, and there aren't any reports of usage.

What are people currently using, for those of us still relying on
canned curves?

Perhaps my question was a bit too cryptic, or perhaps most people here
are creating their own custom curves. Hoping that it's the first,
have any people here assessed which canned curve for QTR is best for
Epson Velvet Fine Art when printing on an Epson 2100/2200 using Epson
UC inks? There aren't any 2200 VFA curves included with QTR, but
there is one in this group's files section. However there was a
caution mentioned by the poster to the effect that he was not an
experienced curve creator, and there are no reports that I could find
of those who've used it. Perhaps one of the other curves included
with QTR is as good or better.

Anyone?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
