. . . running on a PC. The first is that I usually get a "wrong paper size" error from the printer" with 13 x 19 both selected in the GUI and loaded in the printer (this can be cancelled with the printer pause button, but the printer's in another room). The second is that the cursor remains an "hourglass" after the first time the print button is clicked and never returns to the "pointer" until the GUI is shut down and restarted. Otherwise things seem wonderful. Many thanks for a wonderful program. Walt

There is a log created in your Documents & settings folder under "application data" and "QuadToneRIP". The contents may shed some light. Could you post or send that log? Have you tried cancelling the printing with the Cancel button? It sounds like the printing process in not completing, maybe due to the page size error. -Stephen www.sbillard.org/Stephen

Stephen- Here's the log file. Though since my post I have noticed
that I can get rid of the hour glass by opening and closing the
window of another program. So the size mismatch error seems most
important. Many thanks, Walt

Roy will have to look into the page size problem. The GUI has set the page to 13x19. Try setting the "Debug" option. That will cause three DOS windows to be visible when you are printing. They all three should go away, then the hour glass should also go away. -Stephen www.sbillard.org/Stephen
