List Guidelines

List Guidelines

2006-12-03 by Tom Moore

Since Scott Graham has passed the baton to me, I thought I'd update
the group description on it's home page. While I was there I decided
to clarify the group guidelines. There's no real change except for the
elaboration of the guideline on requesting help - see item 4 in the
guidlines. Since I'm quite sure that few, if any, of you visit the
list home page regularly to check for changes, I thought I'd let you
know about the update. Here's the link:

Memory reference error

2007-02-13 by Steve and Ann Taylor

This is a question for Roy or anybody else that might have some info about
it. I have downloaded the newest version of QTR and I am trying to keep up
with the newest QTRGui. I have just started getting a memory error from
ImageToRaster.exe. This is with Win2000 on an Athlon 64 X2 3800+. I have
not been getting this until just recently. It seems to pop up at the end
of the conversion while it is still printing. the printing will stop and
starts again when I click on the OK to terminate the program. The print
seems to come out fine. the error message says:

The instruction at "0x77fcb940" referenced memory at "0x30303030". The
memory could not be "written". Click on OK to terminate the program

I can send a screen capture of the error if needed. the instruction
address is always the same but sometimes the memory is all 0s.

Thanks,
Steve Taylor

Steve, Don't know the answer but just wanted to let you know I'm
experiencing the same thing. I'm running WinXP with Athlon 64. Error msg
just started also. Am new to QTRGui and if I continue experiencing this
I'll do some research. Doesn't really keep me from getting good print but
just an irritation. I'll keep your email in case I come up with a solution
or more info. Pat McVicker patmcvicker@...
