QTR-Quadtone RIP

I've been trying to help my friend get QTR installed on his Dual G4 10.4.3 Mac with Epson 
4000 and Photoshop CS1 and have gotten the printer installed but haven't been able to get 
the default curves to install so that they show up in the print box. I've run both the profile 
and curve scripts in Terminal but the Print Box doesn't seem to "find" them. 

I don't recall having this issue with my 2200/10.4/CS2 set up. Thank you for your help.

Please help, I've tried this a second round to no avail... I haven't been changing the names of 
the printer, I've been rebooting and repairing permissions, etc. and am a pretty experienced 
user -- yet I can't get the the printer dialog box to see any of the curve selections. Thanks.
