Ink Flush

I have an epson r2400 and i tried to print an image on hahnemuhle rag paper. Im using QTR to print it and using the neutra k7 inks. Whenever i try to print an image, the printer tries to flush all the ink, all that it prints is black, if i dont stop it it would print the whole page in black. I dont know what the reason could be, its wasting ink which is expensive as well as the paper which is also expensive.
