QTR from Lightroom

What do I need to do to print to QTR from Lightroom?

I am not in front of my QTR computer right now, but I looked last night and I didn't see any
of the QTR profiles except the generic QTR-RGB profile in the profile picker under "Color
Management"

I plan on messing around with it, but I thought maybe someone else had already blazed this
trail.

You can't print to QTR from Lightroom. You could export an image from
LR which you could then print using QTR, but that's the only way to do it.

Actually,

I got it to work last night.

Printing was pretty straightforward, except I could only pick the QTR
RGB profiles so I couldn't quite get the images to come out right.

I wonder if there is any way to get the profiles to be compatible
with Lightroom.

I don't know enough about ICC profiles to know what the differences are.

I asked about this problem with one of the earlier betas and was told
by the developers that Lightroom doesn't understand grayscale. It
operates only in RGB space. It will do beautiful gray conversions
but the resulting files always remain as RGB.

I still don't understand why that is a problem

QTR prints the same with zero saturation RGB files as it does with
Greyscale in my experience.

I'm printing just fine to QTR from Lightroom. I'm using a Mac and an R1800 with NK7 inks.
The R1800 is set up for the NK7 profiles and shows up as just a regular printer to Lightroom,
and all i do is select it, adjust the settings in the print dialog, and it prints.

I haven't printed from Windows in a long time, but I'm guessing you just need to export as a
TIFF and print through the QTR GUI.

That's what I do.

The reason I am interested is that I would really like to be able to
print out of Lightroom and use it's ability to crop within the
program without cropping the image or having to make multiple
versions of the image.
