QTR-Quadtone RIP

I installed v2.2.4 on Windows XP Pro

When selected
 Printer Name: "EPSON Stylus Photo R1800" 
 Printing Model: "QuadR1800"

I get the following error code:

"ERROR: Fatal error: Unable to find driver named 'escp2-R1800'"

Instead if I select Printing Model: "QuadR800" the R1800 prints a 
light version of the image with no error. I have never installed a 
R800 driver on the system.

Has anyone seen this error or printed successfully on a R1800?

Yes, the R1800 part is missing.   As you found out the R800 printer model
wlll work, it's just restricted to letter size.   It shouldn't be lighter though.
Make sure you select curves and 1440x1440 resolution.
The R1800 version should be ready soon - just getting some other stuff
done too.

Actually the 1800 driver is not missing.

That printer is not supported (yet?).  See Roy's website.

This is a very subtle difference (missing/unsupported) UNLESS 'you' are doing all the work 
as Roy is.
