QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hello everyone. I am new to Quad and thought I had it all figured out.
I am on an Epson 2200 using Epson inks and Epson paper. My blacks are
coming out really muddy. I had a few tests that came out a nice black
and then I had to restart Photoshop CS2. Now the blacks are back to
being muddy. I cannot figured out what is going on.

I have followed step by step the read me in the installation guide and
no use. Can anyone help me with this. I am using Photo Black on Matte
which I know is not the correct usage, but I did get it to a point
where it was all working fine.

Any words on this would be very helpful!
