Is the curve editor option available on the mac platform or can profiles only be edited in a
text editor?

Hello Andy, I think what you're refering to is the GUI interface written for Windows/QTR. With
mac we seem to be stuck with text based curves. I don't know of a specific curve editor for
Mac but I'd sure like to find one myself. I believe PS curves can be transferred but I can't find
a way to get decimal points into PS curves.

On the same note does anyone know a graphic program just to visualize and nail down
points for simple curves that might be available already as a Mac utility. I've found "Grapher"
which looks fine if you want to graph the human genome but doesn't seem to have a place
for a simple 2D curve. A cheap shareware or widget would work fine also. I've no need for
Excel or similar programs. I've been working on my own curves for QTR 1.5.1 and graph
paper and a pencil are putting a cramp in my wrist:) Robert

Robert,

I use excel for plotting my curves, but I don't have a working densitometer so I've been
eyeballing my densities, which is fine by me. I don't plan on placing excel spread sheets
next to my print on the wall, so if it looks good to me, that works fine. anyway you may
want to try versiontracker.com to see if there is any shareware on there. A QTRgui would
be nice for mac, I'd like to import a PS curve, but don't know how just using text files.

Andy
