QTR-Quadtone RIP

Hello everybody
First i apologise if my question might not pertain in this forum.
I am new into digital B&W printing.After some research and some printing 
with my first carts from Joe Cone i am still unable to make up my mind
as for which one to stick with.
I am also just getting into learning about RIP's curves and all the
fun stuff.
My question is that i am trying to decide on a system either Joe's
Piezography or MIS's UT-2 inks.
My undecision comes from lower prices on MIS system and inks and the
ability to play with tones versus Piezography where costs are higher
and having to switch inks if needed to print different tones.
As a bottom line i am mostly interested in getting top quality B&W prints.
If i could get some feed back from you more experienced fox here i
would greatly appreciate it.
