inexpensive inkjets that can use quadtonerip

Can anyone recommend a printer that can use quadtonerip that is
inexpensive?

a few printers i have seen are:

1) epson 380 - guess it can use a profile to make claria inks work in a
more b&w way, but not sure you can use other inks in it?

2) epson 280 - can this be used?

3) epson 340 - can this be used?

any help would be appreciated.

john

I can tell you from experience that the R340 works fine. Can't comment on the others, though.

If MIS has the 280 carts in stock (must call them), it's a good, inexpensive
printer. See some of the B&W options at

I would suggest a used printer from either someone who you know or a reputable dealer.
Unless you absolutely need to buy one new, you will get more for your money with a used
model. I am having excellent success with my 2200.
