Installing for Multiple Users on One Machine

Installing for Multiple Users on One Machine

2008-01-29 by wendelwhite

We are testing/configuring a setup of QTR in a lab setting at my school. The problem we
have run into is, that we cannot figure how to install QTR so that any student that sits at a
workstations and logs in with their account, is able to print with QTR. We do not allow
students to install but, when we install QTR on the workstation as Admin, it is not available
for other users.

Any ideas about how we can make this work?

Thanks,

Wendel

I think we have found the problem. It seems that the security configuration on the lab
machines is preventing the driver from being accesses by all users.

Thanks anyway,

Wendel

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
