QTR-Quadtone RIP

I'm currently using v.2.5 with Mac OSX 10.4 on an Epson 2200 using UT3D inkset, and I'm 
wondering if there are any real advantages to upgrading?

May I just add the same question for my configuration of Windows XP and 
using the Epson 3800 with K3 inks?

I don't know if you received a reply or not so will let you know my 
experience.  I had a much older version 2.2 and upgraded to 2.6 to 
use with my 1800 3MK approach.  I found that the full list of 
printers and models was not there in the pull-down models.  I deleted 
the new version and downloaded the 2.5.2 version and everything is 
working just fine.

I just found that if I downloaded 2.5.1 and did not delete the 
version before I uploaded it to 2.6.1, the new version retained all 
of the printer pop-up menu choices.  I cannot give the advantages of 
the 2.6.1 over the 2.5.1 as I had previously not used either
