Dilute VS High desity MIS ink

Dilute VS High desity MIS ink

2008-06-14 by Bernard Wolf

Hello - I am a bit confused about the possible difference between MIS carbon ink in pre filled  cartridges versus bulk ink. From what I gather in the article  that I have read by Paul Roark the Bulk inkset for the R1800 is high density carbon ink whereas the pre filled inks are dilute.

My question is this: does the high density bulk ink print darker or does it just use less ink ?

thanks

If you're looking at the R1800 3-MK workflow, bulk Eboni is the same as what
MIS is selling in pre-filled carts at http://www.inksupply.com/r1800_bo.cfm

I don't recommend the 1800 for dilute carbon inksets like Eboni-6
http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/Eboni-6.pdf or Carbon-6
http://www.paulroark.com/BW-Info/Ink-Mixing.pdf

Hope this helps.
