Vertical Lines

I just installed QTR on my Epson R1800 hooked up to my Mac. When printing through QTR there are very slight, but noticeable vertical lines. Actually they are more like very faint darker bands about 1/16" wide. They seem to appear mostly in the mid-tones. When printing the same photograph through the R1800 driver, although the picture has a bluish cast, the bands disappear. Any suggestions? Thanks, David
