CS4 and inkseparation file

I tried to print the inkseparation file (.psd and .tiff) with photoshop CS4 and got a blank sheet of paper every time. I checked the ink limit was at 100. It only occurs with 'color management off'. With exactly the same file and settings, CS3 ran perfectly. Either I am missing some setting buried in photoshop or there is a glitch to do with preventing some form of color management. Anyone else had the same problem yet? Ross.
