Which gray scale workspace should I use when printing with QTR???

Which gray scale workspace should I use when printing with QTR???

2008-11-03 by grayscale2008

Hi guys!

My files are 16 bit rgb files and I am using the eci v. 1.0 workspace.
Before printing I want to change them to 8 bit and a gray scale workspace.

But which gray scale workspace should I use?

Thanks a lot any your help!

Why would you use a greyscale conversion when you can convert using a
channel mixer and get a conversion with control over how your tonality
is rendered.

Hi Jonathan!

My picure are already converted to BW via Nik Silver Efex Pro.

But the file is still a RGB file.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
