qtr 2.6.1.0 - creating curves - EPSON 2100 - some questions part 2

Hi all!

Still "fighting" with creating curves for Hahnemühle Photo Rag...

My equipment:

PC, Windows XP SP3, CS3, EPSON 2100 + original UltraChrome inks, QTR
2.6.1.0.

Here are my questions:

1.) If I gonna change some of the original curves (qidf-file) what
will happen to the quad-file? How will the change be "transmitted"
(See reason question 2)?

2.) I wanted to add a Photoshop curve to the toner curve. But I got
the following error message:

"did not return valid coordinates at quadprofile.pl line 39"

What is wrong?

3.) Some curves got linearization data going down from app. 98 to app.
18, others go up from app. 0,02 to app. 1,7.

Why that?

4.) The L-Curve in the *out-text file does not make a complete even.
The last 3 values in the steps 90, 95 and 100 are 20,62, 18,77 and 17,53.

Can somebody please explain that?

5.) I had a look at the UC-EEnhMatte-warm-curves of one older version
of QTR (2.5.2.0) and I found that text in the qidf-files:

# the following is a special UltraChrome ink flag it copies the
# light-black curves to the light-cyan, light-magenta and yellow inks.
# this insures that the LC and LM inks are used to directly neutralize
# the color of the light-black.
# the color balance of inks is controlled by the LIMIT_ values above.
#
UC_NEUTRALIZER=YES

What is the reason for that and why is it not longer in the actual
version of the curves?

Sorry for all this questions...
