scripts don't load, curves = 'none', R1800, 10.5.6, MBP

I wonder could somebody please tell me what's going wrong?

The command scripts don't load, and I'm prompted to choose an application to open them when I double click them.

The curves dialogue only offers me a 'None' option in the Quad Tone section of the print dialogue.

Split tone blending is greyed.

I'm using a R1800 with standard Epson inks.

I've tried uninstalling and installing the program a few times now, always with the same result.

I've tried QTR 2.6.2 and 2.6.1.

I'd appreciate if somebody could tell me where it's going wrong;
it all breaks down here-

"After installing the programs you must
setup the printer and install the appropriate profiles. There are scripts for
doing this, see the following page. "

I can't install the scripts.

Thank you-

joseph

Clicking on any of the scripts brings these dialogues up-

"Unable to read the dictionary of the application or extension because it is not scriptable."

followed by

"The document "DiagnosticScript.command" could not be opened. Script Editor cannot open files in the "Script Editor.app Document" format."
