QTR-Quadtone RIP

I am trying to print the inkseparation.psd or inkseparation.tif file (that come with the QTR download) through QTR 2.6 using an Epson 4000. Color Mgt is turned off in both photoshop and in the printer dialogue box per instructions. I'm using the QuadToneRIP Calibration Mode per instructions. When I hit print, the printer picks up the paper, acts like it's going to start printing, and pushes the paper through the printer without printing anything?  It only happens with these inkseparation files. I can print Hahnemuhle PhotoRag and any of my image files through QTR on this printer and get a good print. I can also print using the Epson print driver through this printer. Has me baffled? Thanks for any help! Doug

Along the same lines, is there a new writeup available for the 2.6 version.  The 2.5 version writeup was not very intuitive.  It's hard to follow a process when the writing seems to assume a certain level of knowledge not necessarily present.
