Canon ipf6100 support?

Canon ipf6100 support?

2009-06-23 by David Meddings

Hi....I've been very happy with QTR on my Epson 2100 but as this printer has bitten the dust I am looking at a new printer.

The Canon ipf6100 is very appealing. Can Roy (or anyone) comment on whether there is a plan to provide QTR support for the Canon ipf line of printers?

Alternatively, is the Epson 7900 going to be supported? It's currently not on the list.

Best,

Dave M

There are no plans for supporting Canon printers.
In general supporting new Epson printers has been relatively easy. But on
looking
at the 7900/9900 it seems that Epson has changed the interface
significantly.
I've written to them about getting info but so far no answer. So I'm not
confident
that I'll be able to support the printer either.

Roy, If you don't have any luck getting the info the Epson USA, we can try
here in EU where disclosure requirements are much tougher.
I think they have to disclose in EU. Mike
