Need help with making curves

Need help with making curves

2009-10-08 by linhof_camera

I am looking for a resource that provides step by step instructions on the process of making curves for ultrachrome inks and Ilford's silk gold paper. Ideally, I want to make 3 to 5 curves (cool, neutral, warm, selenium and sepia), so I can blend them for split tone prints. I have the datacolor spectrophotometer but rarely use it because I have another printer set up with K7 piezography and use the profiles included with QTR. I must be a bit slow becuase the information I have seen so far makes the curve creation process seem very complicated. I will using the Epson 4880 printer. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Download Tom Moore's user guide and follow the instructions.
