Printing from Lightroom 2

Greetings, Do the print settings in LR2 matter when you use QTR?I mean the profile selection, sharpening, dpi, matte or glossy choice, etc. I am not getting prints that are too dark using a calibrated iMac, HanPhotoRag, and Cone K6 CIS on an Epson 1400. ----------------- On a separtate, but related matter I have the Cone color CIS on another 1400 and I get a great print. However, I am using the settings from LR. The printer driver wont even show me the HanPhotoRag profile. Only the Epson profiles. So I am presuming the LR settings prevail. Thanks for any help. Ken
